SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - any advice?

I lost my job as a line cook and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Any experience at all would help. There are 10 people in my household. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 7 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
