SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - any advice?

I lost my job as a teaching assistant and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I worked as a teaching assistant before this. The caseworker asked for bank statements too.

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.
