SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - any advice?

I lost my job as an IT help-desk technician and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The caseworker asked for bank statements too.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
