I lost my job as an administrative assistant and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
