SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? after 8 years as a bookkeeper

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. It has been a long 7 weeks. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
