SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? after 14 years as a web developer

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
