SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - 2 months and counting

I lost my job as a teaching assistant and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The caseworker asked for bank statements too.

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
