SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send?

I lost my job as a machine operator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. This is my first time dealing with any of this. There are 6 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
