Severance and unemployment, do they overlap?, bank teller here

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The agreement mentions a release and a payment schedule. Did you file straight away?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
