Severance and unemployment, do they overlap? - 13 months and counting

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The agreement mentions a release and a payment schedule. Did you file straight away?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
