Not sure if my job search activity counts (Wichita)

I have been applying to about 14 jobs a week as a web developer, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Any experience at all would help. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
