Not sure if my job search activity counts - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
