Not sure if my job search activity counts - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 18 weeks. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
