Not sure if my job search activity counts - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a hotel front-desk agent, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. It has been weighing on me all week. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
