Not sure if my job search activity counts - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 12 jobs a week as a mechanic, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Thank you in advance. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
