Not sure if my job search activity counts (update)

I have been applying to about 9 jobs a week as an accounts payable clerk, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
