Not sure if my job search activity counts (update)

I have been applying to about 13 jobs a week as a graphic designer, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Columbus, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
