Not sure if my job search activity counts (update)

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
