Not sure if my job search activity counts (update)

I have been applying to about 13 jobs a week as a copywriter, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
