Not sure if my job search activity counts (Spokane)

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as a machine operator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Spokane, in case local advice matters. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
