Not sure if my job search activity counts (Portland)

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Portland, in case local advice matters. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
