Not sure if my job search activity counts (Phoenix)

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a marketing coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I have been trying to stay organised about it. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
