Not sure if my job search activity counts, insurance claims processor here

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been weighing on me all week. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
