Not sure if my job search activity counts (Hartford)

I have been applying to about 15 jobs a week as a bank teller, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Any experience at all would help. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
