Not sure if my job search activity counts - first time posting

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a customer-service rep, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
