Not sure if my job search activity counts - first time posting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Seattle, in case local advice matters. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
