Not sure if my job search activity counts - first time posting

I have been applying to about 10 jobs a week as a payroll clerk, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. It has been weighing on me all week. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
