Not sure if my job search activity counts - first time posting

I have been applying to about 7 jobs a week as a sales associate, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
