Not sure if my job search activity counts - first time posting

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a payroll clerk, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
