Not sure if my job search activity counts - first time posting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Minneapolis, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
