Not sure if my job search activity counts

I have been applying to about 4 jobs a week as a production planner, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
