Not sure if my job search activity counts

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as an HR coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Any experience at all would help. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
