Not sure if my job search activity counts, customer-service rep here

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a customer-service rep, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
