Not sure if my job search activity counts (Cleveland)

I have been applying to about 9 jobs a week as an event coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I also did a résumé workshop at the library.

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
