Not sure if my job search activity counts - any advice?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 23 weeks. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
