Not sure if my job search activity counts - any advice?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 20 weeks. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
