Not sure if my job search activity counts - any advice?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
