Not sure if my job search activity counts - any advice?

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a call-centre agent, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 18 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
