Not sure if my job search activity counts after 8 years as an operations analyst

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 14 weeks. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
