Not sure if my job search activity counts after 3 years as a welding apprentice

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
