Not sure if my job search activity counts after 18 years as a recruiter

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a recruiter, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
