Not sure if my job search activity counts after 16 years as a marketing coordinator

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
