Not sure if my job search activity counts after 13 years as an electrician's helper

I have been applying to about 13 jobs a week as an electrician's helper, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?
