Not sure if my job search activity counts

I have been applying to about 4 jobs a week as an event coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Omaha, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
