Not sure if my job search activity counts - 9 months and counting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I worked as a copywriter before this. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
