Not sure if my job search activity counts

I have been applying to about 6 jobs a week as a procurement assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
