Not sure if my job search activity counts - 7 months and counting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I worked as a teaching assistant before this. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
