Not sure if my job search activity counts

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as an office manager, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
