Not sure if my job search activity counts - 24 weeks in

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as a school bus driver, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
