Not sure if my job search activity counts

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I worked as an IT help-desk technician before this. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
